37 Days: Plan Your Vote

On Sundays I offer one simple thing you can do to end Trump. This one is a bit of a repeat. But with just over a month to go (and less than that in some places given the varied early and vote-by-mail rules in parts of the country), it is imperative that you have a plan. I’m sharing a few images from PlanYourVote.org’s library of artist images.

But first, as I said before: make your plan before helping others. Say your plan out loud. Write it down. Tell it to another human. Tell me. Studies show you are far more likely to do something if you tell someone else you are going to do it. Here’s my plan:

• D.C. is mailing ballots to all registered voters during the first week of October.
• I’ll be filling out my ballot right away and dropping it off at a secure ballot drop-off site.
• If I don’t receive my ballot, I’ll vote in person first thing in the morning on Election Day.
